These terms apply to your use of the website. Any terms of your own do not form part of our agreement.
2. What this website is
The pages on this site are advertising content presented in an editorial style (advertorials) and are labelled as advertisements. No contract for language lessons, tutoring or any other service from Preply or other third parties is formed through this website.
3. Affiliate links
Links to third-party providers, in particular Preply, may be affiliate links. If you sign up or make a booking through such a link, we may receive a commission. This does not change the price you pay. Your contract for any booking is with the provider, not with us. Names in personal stories may have been changed to protect privacy.
4. No promise of results
Statements about learning progress, speaking confidence or earnings describe general patterns and published research, including Dustmann & Fabbri, The Economic Journal 113 (2003). They are not a promise of any particular outcome for you.
5. Copyright
The text, design and images on these pages are protected by copyright. Any use beyond viewing them in your browser requires our prior permission, unless the law allows otherwise.
6. Liability
We are liable for our own content in accordance with the law. The operators of linked sites are responsible for their content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws that apply where you live. If any clause is invalid, the rest of these terms remain in force.
